Ten Million Years in the Future...
    Planet Earth was destroyed an eon ago, jump starting a new round of evolution.   And now the little mice of the old world have become the spirited rulers of this new world.   The climb of the mice was mirrored by the fall of the humans, flushed down the evolutionary gutter to become 3-inch pests infesting the mouse houses.   While the tiny humans struggle to survive, the giant mice struggle to rid their homes of the human pests.
  Despite the dangers of living under the mouse's feet, tiny Jack and Jill live happily in the walls of the mouse house, frolicing in their secret Garden of Eden on the roof of the garage.   Though only 19, Jack is the leader of his roof-top village.   And he has it all figured out - free food, a scenic garden, and the mouse people don't know they're there.
  It's a peaceful slice of paradise until mouse mom catches little Jill foraging in the kitchen and throws her in the cage with the kid's collection of pet humans.   And then it's a race against time as Jack rallies his clan to bust out their princess before the other captives get their hands on her or the kid feeds her to the fish.   And when the kid's girl friend shows up, things really get crazy.


The story is peppered with interesting characters:
Jack Ash - Though only 19, he runs his clan like a seasoned colonel. A calm deep thinker, prefers to think a plan through before going crazy. Has transformed his village into a smooth running Garden of Eden.
Jill Ash - Warrior princess traded the warrior life to become a princess in Jack's Eden, a princess who's not afraid to bust heads when needed.
Tony & Andy - Two farmers thrown in the cage with Jill. Trash talking Tony becomes Jill's guardian angel in a cage full of thugs.
Luke & Molly - These two kids are newcomers to Jack's clan. They've anxious to make an impact and become instrumental in rescuing Jill.
Heidi, Franz, Karl - The mouse family where Jack's clan lives. Pests sneak in every day, but Heidi don't know that Jack's clan actually lives in the house.
