(11-5-07) While I was in China, I made a trip to Railay Beach in the Krabi area of Thailand for a quick vacation. This turned out to be a disaster, but the beaches were incredible. Railay is a peninsula that is blocked from the mainland by huge cliffs, so it's essentially a half mile square island accessable only by boat.
(11-6-07) The Railay Peninsula has four beaches: the east side is a muddy mangrove beach, while the west side has muddy Ton Sai Beach on the north, beautiful Railay Beach at center, and Phra Nang Beach to the south is possibly the most spectacular beach in the world.
(11-9-07) More of Railay Beach but it was a little sunnier on this day.
(11-13-07) The pictures above were taken with my small Canon camera, I shot these pictures of the hotel with my Nikon SLR and the quality is a ton better.
