August 2007, Between Swift Reservoir and Mt St Helens is the interesting Ape Caves, featuring two lava tubes that you can hike unguided at your leisure.













August 2007, We spent a day in Condon and the John Day Fossil Beds, in eastern Oregon.













August 2007, On the way back from Condon we stopped at Silver Creek Falls State Park, about 20 miles east of Salem.
