East of Portland on the Oregon side of the river is a great bike ride along the river past Troutdale. This scenic ride includes several riverfront parks and a big park at Blue Lake.

This section of Marine Drive follows the river between I-205 and the Sandy River in Troutdale. Part of the bike path is on the road, part is hidden off-road.











At the riverfront in Troutdale is Chinook Landing Park. This scenic little place is mostly a boat launch area but also has a beach & big picnic areas.

















Just inland from Chinook Landing is Blue Lake Park. This huge park features a big lake, ponds and plenty of room to roam.
