In the southwest corner of Mueller State Park is the Dome Rock State Wildlife Area. The three mile trail to the rock is a spectacular hike through a rocky canyon along a churning creek. It ends at the base of the rock with this impressive view of one of the biggest domes in Colorado. The exposed portion of the dome is 500 feet high.
