Few visitors hike across the road at the Florissant Fossil Beds, but those who do will find this pretty creek and footbridge along the Hornbek Trail. Despite the reletively tame fossil displays, this wide valley is one of the prettiest places in Colorado for easy hikes through hilly forest and meadows.
