Forty miles west of Colorado Springs, the Platte River cuts through rugged Elevenmile Canyon, making one of the more popular locations in the region for hiking, biking, climbing, camping or fishing. A ten mile road follows the river to the dam and is one of the most stunning bike rides anywhere.
