Twenty miles north of Woodland Park is a remote area of mountains and forest called the Buffalo Creek Bicycle Area. Between Wellington Lake and the town of Buffalo Creek, this five by eight mile area has been laced with bike trails by the forest service, and now offers a great variety of five and ten mile loops for ambitious riders.
